During my studies at IU, I engaged in a wide range of design projects as part of my class curriculum as well a few for extras practice. Below is a sample of the work I completed.

Capstone is a year long individual design project of our personal choosing. The problem that I am addressing is that medical devices do not treat patients as emotional beings, rather medical devices are strictly utilitarian. This project is currently in progress.

This design project regards how I needed to display my work in a way that demonstrates what I can do and conveys who I am as a designer. The problem here is that the portfolio should showcase my work, then again the portfolio itself is one of my designs.

As part of a story telling class, we were given the task of creating a game with a story-line, preferably a non-linear story. We developed a game that told the story of a man who lost his mustache.

Our Experience Design task was to design an engaging experience in the form of a museum installation that is universally accessible. We developed a concept in which the museum audience learns about pollination by becoming a bee.

This was my first design challenge: Without changing the basic functions of the thermostat, find a way to change thermostat behavior that is harmful to the environment. We developed a thermostat that graphically displays the degree to which the device is running at an environmentally-friendly level.
